·       Myth No 1: Lose Bulk Only With a Diet Plan

Well, this is one of the common myths that we have noticed while doing our research. People tend to believe that only a proper diet plan can help us in losing bulk. A big NO! Losing weight is a combined effort and sustained change with a proper and diet plan and exercise. You may not be able to lose weight as per your expectations if you only focus on dietary food items, and not on exercise. You also need to work-out to burn fat faster.

Advice: You need to work-out at least 20-30 minutes in a day focusing on dietary food items.

And dieting is not about being skinny; it is all about being smart and healthy internally.

Advice: Always ensure to eat healthy, balanced and nutritional food without skipping your meal for a day.

·       Weight Loss is a Linear Process

Some people think that weight loss is a linear process. Actually, it isn’t so. According to experts, dieting is not losing each day, sometimes people may lose and at times you may also gain weight in spite of being on diet. This may concern you a bit, but this is not something you should concern about. It is completely normal. The weight of the body does fluctuate. This simply happens because at times we hold on more water in our body than usual or we carry more food in our digestive system. The fluctuation doesn’t really matter, you need to focus on the long-term goal, generally the trend is going downwards, helping you in weight loss.

Advice: You just need to focus on your ultimate goal without worrying about the fluctuations.

Along with these myths, there are several other myths that are unproven and false completely. These were just a few. Before believing any of the myths about weight loss, one should first try to research about it properly. Weight loss is a slow process, which may take time but the results are remarkable.
